We're about helping mums get moving, building community and getting you to be the strongest and healthiest version of yourself. We do all of this through group training, personal training, and where it works for you - even a mix of both!

There are NO lock in contracts, NO crash diets, NO calorie counting, and NO time wasted on boring ineffective workouts.

We have gathered the questions our clients always ask and put them down below for you to help you get across, what, and how we do things!

I’m really unfit, can I still do this?

Yes! Fit For Life is designed around YOU. Whether are returning to working out after having a baby, maybe getting back into it after an injury or you just have had a bit of a busy spell and haven’t exercised in months (or years). The workouts are flexible and adaptive which means we meet you where you’re at, and everything is built around you!

Can I use Creche during my Trial?

Yes! We recommend bringing bub down and letting them get used to the creche, and to meet Jess and the coaches so they get to know the faces of the studio. We don't charge for creche when you're trialling or a member with us so there will be no cost there!

How much does your creche cost?

If you're a member with us at Fit For Life, we don't charge for Creche as it is all included in your membership. However, if you come casually, we charge a small $5 fee per session to use the creche in addition to the session cost. It's also worth noting that we don't charge for creche during your trial!

How do I get started?

Just complete the short survey at the top. From there, your details will get sent straight through to Loz and Jonathan. To make sure you know what we're all about before we chat - you'll get a couple of emails directing you to watch a video about our studio and how we do things!

Do I need special equipment?

Nope! If you're working out at the studio, we've got everything covered. If you're not able to get into the studio for a session or need to workout at home, no worries at all - jump on Zoom and if you have some basic resistance bands, dumbbells or kettlebells you're good to go.2. What if I feel nervous or out of place?

That’s totally normal, and honestly, most people feel the same way at first until they realise their friends and co-workers go here too! But once you walk through the door, meet our amazing Fit For Life crew of coaches and fitness goers, you’ll realise everyone is here for the same reason: to get fit, strong and have a body that supports their life!

I won't know anyone there, will it be awkward?

If the last 5 years has taught me anything its been that I can almost bet my bottom dollar you'll walk into the studio and in your first week see someone you know and say "what are you doing here?"! What usually happens next is that you might say "I can't believe you never told me about this place, keeping it all to yourself I see!"

Seriously, it's crazy how often this happens - and we love how it's built an absolutely amazing Fit For Life Community.

How much time will I need to commit each week?

Our mums are getting great results with anywhere between 2, 3, 4 or 5 workouts a week. It is all about how much you can get to the studio and how much movement you can fit into your busy schedule. There is no one-size fits all to fitness and we don't treat it like that. So if you can get to the studio 2 or 3 times a week GREAT! If you can get there 4 or 5 also GREAT!

Do I need any experience to join?

Not at all. No gym experience required. We show you exactly what to do, how to move, and how to build confidence with every session.

When do your sessions run?

The best part of Fit For Life Health & Fitness is that we aren't a big box gym, so that means we can set our schedules to work around YOU! Our sessions run at 6am, 7am, 8:30am (with creche), 9:30am (with creche) and 6pm.

As of February, we'll be bringing back our 10:30am session that also has a creche to give you another option to get a workout in.

You'll also get the bonus of access to our 6:00pm coached running sessions on Wednesday night and a coached running speed session at 6:45am on Saturday.

What kind of workouts will I be doing?

A mix of our HIIT FIT cardio sessions, our LIFT FIT strength sessions, our HYBRID FIT sessions which combine the two and if you're up for it our running sessions! We're truly about building hybrid athletes who have a body that can actually do things in life and our training backs it up - and proves it when you look at our members!

What kind of results can I expect in 30 days?

While the only thing we can guarantee is that you and I will need to pay taxes, what we can say is that you'll feel stronger, more energised, and more confident and if our past results are anything to go by lose up to 6kg. Many people sleep better, feel less stressed, and rediscover their love for working out again - which we totally love!

I have an injury or health issue, can I still join?

We'd love to tell you yes straight up, but the reality is the answer is in most cases, yes - but sometimes no. We’ll chat with you before you start to make sure it’s safe, and we’ll adjust sessions to suit your needs. But above all your safety is our main concern so if we can't help you we'll refer you to our close network of physicians who can help.

Is Fit For Life suitable for older adults?

I mean define older!!! But yes absolutely many of our members are in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. We adjust everything to your ability and pace at the start and before long you'll be out doing the younger crew. For reference one of our 67 year old crew went from not running to running 15k in 6 months!

What if I miss a session?

No problem, get our custom Fit For Life App out and book in for your next one! We'll keep you accountable to get into the studio and get working out so we'll definitely touch base if we don't see your name on the list!

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your workout gear, a water bottle, a towel, and a can do approach to things. We take care of vibes, play list and getting you sweating your way to that endorphin kick!

Hey, I'm Loz!

Hey there! I'm Loz - I own the Fit For Life Studio and I'll be your head coach! Over the past 15 years I've helped thousands of local men, women, mums, and dads transform their bodies, and minds with a hybrid training approach where:

1. we get you strong with weights based sessions and

2. help you build strong lungs and shed stubborn body fat with HIIT sessions.

But it doesn't end there, our accredited running coach Jono will take care of all things running and endurance for you and get you cruising past people on anything from a 5k Parkrun to a full marathon!
